A man traveling westbound on Highway 128 near Lake Berryessa Wednesday afternoon suffered moderate injuries in a crash with a big rig that was traveling in the opposite direction, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash was reported at 3:19 p.m.

The motorcycle swerved to avoid the big rig and ended up going down an embankment 10 to 15 feet,  according to CalFire/Napa County Fire.

Bystanders assisted the man up to the side of the road, according to CalFire/Napa County Fire. He was transported by American Medical Response ambulance to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.

Further information on the crash and the motorcyclist’s condition were not immediately available.
