A 49-year-old Napa man was arrested on suspicion violating probation, a warrant charge and possessing drug paraphernalia, police said.
Around 12:30 a.m. Monday, a Napa police officer stopped Michael Deweese at an undisclosed location on suspicion of a vehicle code violation, police said. Deweese, who is on probation, was searched and the officer allegedly found him to be carrying drug paraphernalia.
Deweese was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of drug paraphernalia and on suspicion of violating probation, police said. A passenger in his vehicle, 35-year-old Jennifer Lee, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for being in possession of a controlled substance.
The pair was taken to the Napa county jail, police said. Another passenger in the vehicle, 58-year-old Rick Morgan of Napa, was arrested and released on a citation for allegedly possessing hypodermic needles.
