Rainfall that settled over Napa and the North Bay is expected to continue through most of Saturday, with winds picking up their pace, according to the National Weather Service.

An 80 percent chance of showers is expected during the day, rising to 90 percent in the evening. A high temperature of 61 degrees and a low of 45 are forecast at Napa County Airport.

Local winds are predicted to reach 10-14 mph from the southeast early today, but then gradually strengthen to 13-18 mph from the southwest overnight. Evening gusts may peak at 24 mph.

Skies are expected to remain overcast into early next week, but the chance of rain is expected to dip below 50 percent late Sunday.

Sunday: 60 / 43 — 50 percent chance of showers, dropping to 30 percent overnight

Monday: 62 / 43 — 20 percent chance of showers

Tuesday: 64 / 45 — chance of showers

Wednesday: 63 / 42 — chance of showers

Thanksgiving Day: 63 / 41 — slight chance of rain
