A man was arrested Wednesday after Napa Special Investigations Bureau agents executed a search warrant at 11:30 a.m. at a warehouse in the 1700 block of Yajome Street, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.

Scott Beazley, 41, of Napa, who was out on bail, allegedly was in possession of a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and two glass smoking pipes, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.

He was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and committing a felony while on bail, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Drug agents found small marijuana plants growing in the warehouse, NSIB said. The plants’ owner, an acquaintance of Beazley’s, appeared to be operating under the guidelines of California’s Compassionate Use Act, officers said.

A local artist and just a swell guy to have around. Keep your chin up, Mr. Beazley. We'll get through this.

Use of meth promotes theft. Avoid getting your house or car burged by reporting meth users to the police.
