This also happened at the Veterans Home in Yountville! At least $10000.00 worth of tools disappeared from the Veterans auto-hobby shop when an administator closed the shop belonging to the Veterans , not the State of Calif. These tools were donated to the Home's Member Veterans, only the dilapidated bldg. was State property. No official notification or investigation has been provided, also some of the tools have been seen in use in Napa.
