A 25-year-old Napa resident was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of drug violations after police stopped him at about 7:30 p.m. for vehicle code violations near Imola Avenue and Freeway Drive, according to Napa Police.

Jardiel Paniagua Mendoza did not have a driver’s license in his possession or any other form of identification, police said. The officers found suspected methamphetamine and a pipe used to smoke methamphetamine in the vehicle, police said.
