Have you received a red-light camera ticket in Napa?

Did you choose to fight it or pay the fine?

If so, the Register wants to speak with you for an upcoming article.

Anyone interested in being interviewed and being quoted by name in a story should call Chantal Lovell at 256-2216.

Why don't you run a poll to see who is in favor of the cameras and who isn't. Then ask volunteers from that poll to explain why or why not. By asking "we want to talk to those who received tickets", your already taking the side of someone who BROKE THE LAW. By accident or not. What about asking to speak with those who HAVEN'T. Just thoughts....and I'll close like I always do....I've been driving through red lights stations, 5 times a week, since the day they were put up. No ticket yet. Guess that means I'm a smart and safe driver.

My lady friend rolled through a stoplight and the fine was $500. That's outrageous and usury. It would be one thing if the City was getting the money and using it for drivers education or street improvements but it's going to a private company that doesn't give a damn about Napa. In the meantime, our streets get worst and worst.
