A woman was arrested at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at Motel 6 in Vacaville in connection with the beating of a man on Highway 128 near Lake Berryessa last summer, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.
Ann Marie Imbrie, 22, of Lakeview, Ore., a former Vacaville resident, is suspected of putting a sleeping pill into the beer of the alleged victim, said Napa County Sheriff’s Capt. Tracey Stuart.
The alleged victim, Dustin Wayne Valentine, 42, of Vacaville, was found just after midnight on Sept. 17 in the 7500 block of Sate Route 128 near Markley Cove, authorities said. He was partially dressed and suffered major head injuries.
Valentine was transported to Capell Valley’s fire station and then flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment.
Imbrie is the third person arrested in connection with the beating. On Feb. 11, detectives arrested two Vacaville residents and booked them into the Napa County jail in connection with the incident.
Dairius Anthony Hill Anderson, 21, was booked on suspicion of attempted murder and battery; Cherena Charise Martinie, 23, was booked on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury and robbery, the Sheriff’s Office said.
Sheriff’s deputies also have a warrant for a fourth suspect, Kenneth Martin Moen-Pfister of Vacaville, authorities said. Moen-Pfister is described as a white male, 5 feet, 10 inches, 140 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.
