At about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, a motorcyclist in his late 60s suffered moderate injuries in a solo crash on southbound Highway 128, about 2 miles south of Markley Cove, according to CalFire/Napa County Fire Department.

James Anderson, 69, of Woodland, was ejected off his bike when he broke hard when he came upon slow traffic, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Anderson was flown by Reach 1 helicopter to Queen of the Valley Medical Center with major injuries, the CHP said. He was listed in stable condition in the intensive care unit, hospital representative Vanessa DeGier said at 1 p.m.
