A 41-year-old Napa man was arrested Saturday night on suspicion of domestic violence after he allegedly dragged a victim through a house, police said.

Officers were called around 10:20 p.m. to the 2000 block of Sommer Street regarding an alleged assault, police said. On arrival, officers contacted the alleged victim, who said Edward Joseph McCullough came home drunk and began arguing.

The argument escalated and McCullough allegedly shoved the victim to the ground and dragged that person through the house, police said. The alleged victim sustained minor injuries that did not require immediate medical attention, police said.

McCullough was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and booked into the Napa jail, police said.
