Two gang members were arrested Saturday evening in the 1300 block of Tallac Street after police officers found them associating with other gang members, according to Napa police.

Police officers came to the residence at 8:30 p.m. for a probation search on a juvenile. As they arrived, Armando Cazares, 19, of Napa, allegedly released a large pit bull and directed the dog to attack the officers, police said.

Officers arrested Cazares and booked him into the Napa County jail on the two warrants and on suspicion of resisting arrest, probation violation and participating in a street gang, police said. The juvenile was arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall on suspicion of probation violation, police said.
