Napa County sheriff’s deputies are training this week at the old Cinedome theater off Pearl Street.

On Wednesday, half a dozen SUVs and a truck were in front of the theater as the deputies practiced various scenarios inside the abandoned movie theater. Training ends Friday.

The Cinedome on Pearl Street closed in November when the new Century Napa Valley movie theater opened on Gasser Drive.

I hope they got permission first. Someone must own that property, I doubt it is "abandoned".

Um yeah, the theater is still owned by someone and the police department got property. What, do you think the cops go around kicking in doors on random closed businesses to do unannounced training? Yeesh.
