St. Helena Hospital’s new centralized administration facility is expected to open Dec. 3 in Santa Rosa.

The new “Revenue Cycle Center” will handle billing, health information management, and pre-admissions for several hospitals operated by Adventist Health — including St. Helena. The center will have approximately 120 employees.

In July, the Napa Valley Register reported that up to 50 administrative positions from St. Helena Hospital would be transferred to the new facility in Santa Rosa. Most employees were expected to retain their jobs and transfer to the Revenue Cycle Center.

Centralizing these administrative positions will not affect patients’ access to care, according to hospital officials.
