A 19-year-old Napa man was arrested Sunday morning after he allegedly threw his wife outside, breaking her arm and causing other injuries, the Napa County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies were called to a home in the 1000 block of Steel Canyon Road regarding a domestic violence report, authorities said. On arrival, they learned Julian Vincent Rubio had allegedly thrown his wife out the back door onto a pile of trash.

The alleged victim reportedly broke her right arm and received puncture wounds on her back from the trash, the sheriff’s office said. Rubio was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and booked into the Napa jail.
