A 22-year-old Napa man was arrested Friday evening following an alleged assault on his girlfriend that police said happened the previous day.

Officers were called around 6:30 p.m. Friday to the McDonald’s on Jefferson Street regarding an alleged disturbance, police said. On arrival, they contacted a female who alleged her boyfriend, Jordan Pepper, had assaulted her the night before and caused minor injury to her lip and forearm, police said. Pepper had left the McDonald’s before police arrived.

Later Friday, officers located Pepper at his home in the 3100 block of Solano Avenue, the location of the alleged assault, police said. He was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

The man, who is currently on parole, was booked into the Napa jail, authorities said.
