The Salvation Army of Napa will host a night of entertainment at the Napa Valley Opera House next week to raise money for its Christmas Assistance campaign.

The event will be Wednesday at the Napa Valley Opera House, 1030 Main St., Napa. The reception starts at 5:30 p.m., the entertainment at 7 p.m.

The show will feature solo artist Tim Hockenberry, a finalist in “America’s Got Talent,” as well as such local groups as the Napa Youth Symphony, Napa High Chamber Choir, the Napa Ballet and the Heavenly Sweet Adeline Quartet.

Funds will help bring Christmas to 1,600 Napa families who will receive holiday food boxes and new toys for children.

Tickets for the reception and entertainment are $20. Youth tickets are $10. Seniors will receive a 10 percent discount.

Those who don’t make it to the holiday fundraiser can still support the Salvation Army by donating food or new, unwrapped toys for families in need to the Salvation Army, 590 Franklin St., on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Financial donations can be sent to: The Salvation Army of Napa, Attn: Christmas Assistance, P. O. Box 2250, Napa 94558. Online donations can be made to: NapaSalArmy.org.
