Two women were arrested at about 4 p.m. Wednesday at Walmart Supercenter at Napa Junction in American Canyon after store security called police to report a shoplifting incident, according to the American Canyon Police Department.

The two women were stopped in the parking lot with about $30 worth of items, including a toothbrush holder and a soap dish, Police Chief Jean Donaldson said

One of the two women, Destiny Washington, 28, of Vallejo, allegedly returned locks stolen earlier in the week, Donaldson said.

Washington was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of possession of stolen property, a felony, and petty theft, a misdemeanor, authorities said. The other woman, Lakisha Burton, 36, was booked on suspicion of petty theft, authorities said.

It's been about a week since I've read a wal-mart shoplifting story. Maybe people are learning that security is tight there.
