Wind gusts of 20 mph and more will cross the Napa area on a sunny Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Morning west winds of 6-11 mph should increase to 13-18 mph in the afternoon, with gusts reaching 23 mph. In the evening, speeds are expected to measure 8-16 mph from the west-southwest, gusting to 21 mph.

The high temperature forecast at Napa County Airport is 78 degrees under sunny skies, dropping to a low of 51 as clouds increase overnight. Patchy fog is possible after 11 p.m.

Breezy conditions should continue into Tuesday, with daytime high temperatures easing back into the mid-70s.

Here is the five-day weather outlook for Napa:

Tuesday: 74 / 45 — patchy fog before 11 a.m., and mostly cloudy before starting to clear after mid-morning; partly cloudy overnight. West-southwest wind of 8-14 mph, shifting after dark to 13-18 mph from the wests and gusting to 23 mph

Wednesday: 77 / 47 — patchy fog before 11 a.m. and after 11 p.m.; otherwise mostly sunny by day and partly cloudy in the evening

Thursday: 79 / 48 — patchy fog before 11 a.m. and after 11 p.m.; mostly sunny, becoming partly cloudy overnight

Friday: 81 / 50 — patchy fog before 11 a.m. and after 11 p.m.; mostly sunny, then mostly cloudy at night

Saturday: 83 / 51 — patchy fog before 11 a.m. and after 11 p.m.; mostly sunny, then mostly cloudy after dark
