A 21-year-old Napa man and a male juvenile were arrested Sunday evening after a gang fight involving a machete on Valley Oak Drive, police said.

Officers were dispatched just after 7 p.m. to the 2700 block of Kilburn Avenue on a report of a gang fight involving weapons, police said. On arrival, officers located a fight just off Kilburn Avenue on Valley Oak Drive.

All suspects allegedly fled the area and officers chased several suspects on foot, police said. Two alleged gang members were apprehended and subsequently, a machete was allegedly found in a trash can near where one suspect was caught.

Eduardo Bermudez Gomez was booked into the Napa jail on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, disturbing the peace, committing a crime in association with a street gang, resisting arrest and violating probation, police said. The juvenile was also arrested.
