Two San Francisco women were arrested Friday in connection with a Toyota Camry that had been reported stolen out of San Francisco, Police Chief Oscar Ortiz reported.
Police said Marquilla Coleman-Williams, 25, approached an officer at 7011 Main St. shortly after 8 a.m. to say she was looking for her brother who had been involved in a fight.
Noting that she was driving an older model vehicle with paper plates, the officer discovered that her car had been reported stolen, Ortiz said.
Coleman-Williams was arrested for investigation of vehicle theft. Her companion in the car, Danielle Edwards, 36, was arrested for investigation of receiving stolen property, he said.
Edwards was on probation in another county for stolen vehicle charges, Ortiz said.
