Vacaville police arrested several people last week during a covert
prostitution operation that targeted massage parlors.
Nga Thi My Khuu, 43 of Sacramento, was arrested Tuesday at K M
Massage at 500 Merchant St. for prostitution, not having a massage license and committing an act punishable as a sexually related crime, police said. She was booked into the Solano County jail.
The owner of the business, Hoa Copleman, 64, of Oakland, was
arrested for allowing an employee to work as a massage therapist without a license. She was released on her promise to appear in court, police said.
Police said Copleman was present on Oct. 14 when a different
massage therapist was arrested for prostitution and she was contacted by police on Jan. 21 and warned about physical facility violations and was given city massage license applications for new employees.
Chae Yon Hwang, 43, of Antelope, was arrested at the Green Spa at
129 Peabody Road for prostitution, not having a massage license, exposing herself, and committing an act punishable as a sexually related crime, police said. She was booked into the Solano County jail.
Hui Cha Kim, 56, of Rancho Cordova, the operator of the Green Spa,
was arrested for physical facility violations and allowing an employee to
perform a massage without a license, police said. She was released on her promise to appear in court.
Police said Kim was arrested at the Green Spa for prostitution on
Three men were arrested Thursday for paying an undercover officer
and asking for sex, police said.
Craig William Taylor, 38, of Granite Bay, Mark Wendell Galloway,
55, of Fairfield and Richard Aaron Robles, 30, of Vacaville, responded to
advertisements offering sexual services for money police said. They were booked into the Solano County jail.
