A memorial ride will be held Sunday for Napa resident Don Mitchell, a local bicyclist who was struck and killed by a car Nov. 10 on Solano Avenue north of Napa.

The ride, which is co-sponsored by San Francisco Randonneurs, Eagle Cycling Club, Napa County Bicycle Coalition and Bicycle Works, will begin at the Napa Valley College library at 10 a.m.

Riders will go to the accident site on Solano near Hillview Lane.

A group of riders from the San Francisco and Berkeley areas is expected to participate in the roughly 25-mile ride.

Riders are asked to arrive at 9:45 at the college. They can order sandwiches, which will be available after the return trip.

For more information, call Bicycle Works at 253-7000.
