Firefighters will practice fire training at the Andaz Hotel on First Street in downtown Napa on Wednesday and Feb. 20 and Feb. 27, according to the Napa Fire Department.

Fire engines will be parked on First, Franklin and Clay streets near the hotel between 10 a.m. and noon and 1-3 p.m. on each of the training days. Traffic will be able to get through on First Street, but one lane may be blocked near the hotel.

“The City of Napa Fire Department is conducting these drills to provide vital training to its members on firefighting skills in buildings greater than three stories,” Chief Mike Randolph said.
