A pedestrian suffered minor injuries Friday evening in a collision with an SUV on Coombs Street near Ash Street, according to Napa Police. The driver of the SUV stopped and was interviewed by police at the scene.
The pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Queen of the Valley Medical Center, according to the Napa Fire Department. His condition is unknown.
A man who was getting tacos near the corner of Ash and Coombs streets said he heard the white SUV brake for the pedestrian.
“I just heard the noise and saw him rolling,” said Dennis Casey, who called 911 at 7:05 p.m.
The pedestrian, who appeared to be in his 40s, said his right leg was hurting, Casey said. “He was awake, looking up,” Casey said.
Further information on the crash was not available Saturday.
