An engagement diamond ring was reported stolen Tuesday night a few hours after a woman mistakenly left it in a bathroom at a doctor’s office in the 3200 block of Claremont Way, according to the Napa Police Department and the fiancé.
The ring has been entered into the police’s database of stolen items, said Capt. Jeff Troendly.
“It’s a public bathroom, and there isn’t much you can do in the way of fingerprints. A lot of people use it,” Troendly said.
Police have also contacted pawn shops slips, he said. There is no suspect.
