The overnight storm dropped a quarter inch of rain on central Napa — less than many had hoped — while the wettest spot was Mount St. Helena which received .86 inches, according to the city of Napa's website.

March is starting out wetter than January, with .17 inches recorded at the Napa County Airport. February's airport total was .35 inches.

The high today should reach 56 degrees. Overnight, the low will drop to around 36.

The chance of showers drops off significantly by Friday and we should be sunny again by the weekend. Here's the outlook:

Thursday: 54 / 34 - 50% chance of thunderstorms

Friday: 62 / 34 - 20% chance of showers

Saturday: 67 / 35 - Sunny

Sunday: 69 / 37 - Sunny

Monday: 71 / 37 - Sunny

So funny to watch the news last night. It's like they really WANT to have this be a big-bad storm...but really folks, it's just a little rain and wind. We used to have this for weeks at a time, not just a few hours overnight.
Beginng to worry me about what/where our water will come from this summer!
