The National Weather Service forecasts more bright and calm skies on Saturday, before the arrival of nighttime wind gusts.

A high temperature of 79 degrees is expected at Napa County Airport, in sunny conditions and a north wind of 6 mph.

Winds will accelerate after dark to 11-16 mph out of the west, with gusts peaking at 21 mph. Later in the night, winds should ease to 5-10 mph from the south-southwest, according to the weather service. The low temperature forecast is 45.

Continued sunshine is expected to contribute to daily highs in the 80s during the first half of next week, reaching the upper 80s by Monday.
