A motorist stopped Wednesday evening near Spruce Street and South Jefferson Street for a series of traffic violations was arrested on suspicion of selling marijuana, according to Napa Police.

Elliott Levi Vazquez, 20, of Calistoga, admitted having a marijuana pipe in his BMW, Capt. Jeff Troendly said. During a search, the officer found a drug pipe in the console of the vehicle and a photo showing Vazquez standing among a group of people packaging a large amount of marijuana, he said.

The officer also saw text messages about marijuana sales on his cell phone, Troendly said.

He was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of selling marijuana, police said.
