A Fairfield man wanted on warrants for robbery and drug possession was arrested Monday after police found him illegally parked at 5:15 a.m. in the 1000 block of Main Street, according to Napa police.

Sean Christopher Pickle, 28, allegedly gave a false name before identifying himself and admitting to being wanted on the warrants for robbery in Idaho and for drug possession in Washington State, police said.

Police found a loaded handgun, drug paraphernalia, marijuana, hypodermic needles, Oxycodone pills and suspected methamphetamine in his vehicle, Capt. Jeff Troendly said.

Pickle allegedly tried to swallow a baggie of heroin hidden in his clothing while he was being booked, police said. The heroin was retrieved, Troendly said.

The suspect was booked on suspicion of drug possession, drug paraphernalia possession, giving a false name to a peace officer, being a felon in possession of a controlled substance, firearm violations and other allegations, according to the jail logs.
