Mostly cloudy skies will cover the Napa area through mid-morning with patchy fog lingering through noon, according to the National Weather Service.

The high temperature forecast is 80 degrees at Napa County Airport, under gradually clearing conditions this afternoon. Daytime winds are expected from the south at 5-13 mph.

Clouds should return after dark, along with more light fog after midnight and a 7-13 mph west-southwest wind. The low temperature forecast overnight is 50.

Local temperatures are forecast to stay in the upper 70s Monday and Tuesday before returning to the low 80s in the second half of the week.

Here is the five-day weather outlook for Napa:

Monday: 77 / 50 — patchy fog before noon and mostly cloudy into mid-morning, then clearing gradually; partly cloudy at night, with patchy fog after midnight. South-southwest daytime winds at 6-9 mph, then 8-14 mph from the southwest after dark

Tuesday: 76 / 50 — patchy morning fog, turning sunny after noon; partly cloudy overnight, with light fog returning after midnight

Wednesday: 81 / 51 — patchy fog before noon, then mostly sunny, remaining mostly clear after dark

Thursday: 83 / 52 — sunny

Friday: 83 / 54 — sunny
