A two-vehicle collision backed up traffic in both directions on Highway 29 near Trower Avenue for about an hour Monday afternoon but did not cause any significant injuries, the Napa Fire Department said.

The details of the collision were not available Monday afternoon, but it occurred around 12:45 p.m. on Highway 29 at Trower, the fire department said. Both vehicles involved were in the center median and were eventually towed.

The fire department said the collision caused a “significant traffic event” but none of the occupants needed to be transported to a hospital.
