A 26-year-old man who was arrested for suspected sex trafficking last year pleaded no contest to a related pimping charge in court on Monday, according to the Napa County District Attorney’s Office.
Martin Johnny McCall will be sentenced to three years in state prison on Jan. 31, the DA’s office said Wednesday. Until then, he is out on $50,000 bail.
McCall was arrested for suspected pimping and pandering after he drove a woman to meet an undercover detective for the purpose of prostitution Nov. 10, 2016. The meeting was setup through an online advertisement, the DA’s Office said.
Additional evidence of sex trafficking was later found on McCall's cellphones, officials said.
