The Napa County Coroner's office has identified the young man found dead near Buhman Park Saturday as a 20-year-old.
The Register is declining to report the man's identity in keeping with its policy for suicides.
The man was found hanging in a tree in the backyard of a home across Napa Creek from Buhman Park in Browns Valley, said Capt. Steve Blower.
Napa Police said the death was discovered shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday by several children who were playing along the park's creek border. The initial report had the death occurring in the park.
Police said there were no indications of foul play.
Blower said next of kin had been notified. A forensic exam will be conducted later this week.
