An 18-year-old Sonoma man was arrested Friday after he allegedly drove to the Napa police station in a car that had been reported stolen, police said.

Antonio Valadez Rodriguez allegedly drove into the police-only parking lot at the station and reported he was being followed, police said. An officer discovered that the black, 1993 Honda Civic he was driving had been reported stolen from the 1600 block of Pueblo Avenue on the first week of December.

Rodriguez, who is on probation, was searched and a small amount of suspected methamphetamine was discovered on his person, police said. He was arrested on suspicion of drug possession, receiving stolen property, grand theft auto and violating probation. Rodriguez was booked into the Napa jail at 7:20 a.m. Friday.
