Three men were arrested around midnight Monday on the Silverado Trail near Zinfandel Lane in connection with the theft of a pickup in Calistoga the day before, according to the Calistoga Police Department.

Ernest Valentine, 28, of Calistoga, Maximo Perez, 20, of Vallejo, and Victor Manuel Ceja, 27, of Vallejo, were booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of being in possession of stolen property after St. Helena Police stopped them on the Silverado Trail, police said.

Police said they found items in the 2006 white GMC pickup truck that had been reported stolen in the 1100 block of Foothill Boulevard on Sunday.

Valentine and Ceja were also jailed for allegedly taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent, police said.
