Four people were transported by ambulance to the hospital Sunday evening following a collision outside the South Napa Marketplace, authorities said.

The two-vehicle collision occurred just before 6 p.m. when a southbound vehicle reportedly hit the passenger side of a northbound sedan that was turning into the shopping center, the Napa Fire Department said.

The southbound driver was reportedly traveling between 30 and 40 miles per hour, while the other driver had slowed to make the turn, authorities said.

The two occupants of each vehicle were taken to the hospital, though their conditions at that time were unknown Tuesday, authorities said.

If this is the one by the Big Bear Dinner. I dont know how you figure several hours as it happened when we went into a restaurant to eat . We ate our dinner and walked outside and they were towing the cars out of the way. Also, the cars were traveling east and west not north and south.

This was a serious accident that took several hours to deal with and the Napa Valley Register takes 36+ hours to report it? No wonder newspapers are disappearing.
