Napa Special Investigations Bureau agents on Tuesday arrested a 57-year-old Napan in the 1100 block of Kansas Avenue on suspicion of being in possession of drugs, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.
David Binstock was arrested after drug agents came to his residence at 6 a.m. to make sure he was complying with the terms of his bail, Capt. Tracey Stuart said. Binstock had been released from custody pending charges of possession for sale and transportation of methamphetamine, she said.
During the search, drug agents found .3 grams of suspected methamphetamine, more than 90 milliliters of liquid morphine, and drug paraphernalia, Stuart said.
Binstock was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance, being in possession of morphine and drug paraphernalia and committing a felony while on bail, according to the Napa County Sheriff’s Office.
