Two people were arrested Tuesday and booked into the Napa County jail after officers responded at 6:45 p.m.. to Walmart Supercenter to a report of theft, according to the American Canyon Police Department.
Carl Poni, 46, of Middletown, was arrested on suspicion of stealing a $50 pair of boots and being under the influence of a controlled substance, police said.
Daun Armstrong, 48, of Hidden Valley Lake, was arrested in the parking lot on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled substance and a methamphetamine pipe, police said.
