The city of Napa will hold a public meeting Thursday night to discuss the City Council’s recent decision to lease the Napa Golf Course at Kennedy Park to CourseCo, Inc.

The meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the golf course dining hall at Kennedy Park. Officials from the Napa Parks and Recreation Services Department will discuss the leasing process and the issues leading up to the council’s decision.

The city intends to lease the course to CourseCo, which previously managed it for the city, for up to 20 years and allow CourseCo to expand revenue-producing events.

The intent is to make the course more profitable so it can be upgraded and end city subsidies.

Anyone may attend the meeting. City and CourseCo, Inc. staff will be there to answer questions and receive input.

For questions contact Larry Mazzuca, Parks and Recreation Services Director at 707-257-9529.
