A fire of unknown origin, reported at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, burned about 3 acres in rugged terrain off Wragg Canyon Road at Lake Berryessa, 2 miles north of Markley Cove, according to CalFire.

About 30 firefighters, shuttled by boats and a helicopter, fought the blaze in 104-degree heat, CalFire said.

The fire was contained at about 7 p.m., officials said.

The fire burned grass and woodlands, CalFire Capt. Matt Newberry said. There were no injuries; no structure was damaged, CalFire said. The response also included two air tankers, a helicopter, two bulldozers and six fire engines, officials said.
