When a north Napa family’s only vehicle was stolen last week along with all their Christmas presents, the Napa Police decided they wanted to help replace the gifts, according to the department’s Facebook page.

After taking the police report, police officers reached out to Cal Fire/Napa County Fire Station #25, City of Napa Fire Department Station #1, and local Safeway and Target stores to help provide the family with new gifts, gift cards and cash.

The stolen vehicle, a truck, was later located, but the family’s belongings were not, police said.
