A four-car pileup snarled traffic for a few hours on Highway 128 in Calistoga on Sunday afternoon, according to local police.
The incident occurred at about 2:30 p.m., when a sports utility vehicle traveling west on Highway 128 stopped to make a left turn into a driveway and was rear-ended by another vehicle. The impact caused the turning vehicle to be pushed into oncoming traffic, where it was struck by another car and pushed into an unoccupied, parked vehicle on the side of the road.
Calistoga police said one of the drivers and his 6-year-old daughter sustained minor injuries and were transported to St. Helena Hospital.
Authorities found no evidence of alcohol or drug use to be a contributing factor.
