A Vallejo man is facing allegations of possessing heroin and black-market painkiller pills for sale following his arrest Tuesday, according to authorities.
Anthony Eugene Wiley, 64, was detained at 2:30 p.m. during a traffic stop at York and H streets after an undercover investigation into the sale of heroin and oxycodone in Napa city and county, the Napa Special Investigations Bureau said in a news release.
After gaining search warrants for Wiley, his cars and his home, NSIB agents followed him in Napa as he drove in a vehicle with two other people, according to the bureau. After stopping Wiley, detectives searched him and his vehicle and found suspected heroin and oxycodone, as well as more than $1,000 in cash, NSIB said.
Other NSIB agents performed a warrant search on Wiley's house in the first block of Elna Court in Vallejo, where they discovered more heroin, oxycodone and another $1,000, according to the agency.
Wiley was booked into the Napa County jail on suspicion of possessing and transporting oxycodone and heroin with intent to sell.
A passenger in Wiley's car, 21-year-old Damien Lagomarsino of Petaluma, also was arrested on a drug-related warrant, according to NSIB.
