The Napa Special Investigations Bureau reported arresting a 26-year-old Vallejo man on Tuesday for allegedly making two sales of cocaine to an undercover detective.
The Bureau said it opened its investigation last fall after learning of a man selling cocaine in American Canyon. Detectives arranged to make two purchases before arresting Joseph Andrew Lopez, 26, on Tuesday at a commercial parking in American Canyon, NSIB reported in a news release.
When detectives served a search warrant at Lopez’ home in Vallejo, they reported seizing additional cocaine possessed for sale, packaging materials and other evidence of drug sales, along with a loaded handgun.
NSIB detectives arrested Lopez for investigation of sales of cocaine, possession of cocaine for sale and being armed with a loaded handgun while in possession of cocaine. He was booked into the Napa County jail.
