A Napa Police operation Sunday led to the arrest of three drivers on outstanding warrants for drunken driving, the agency reported.
The enforcement action focused on several Napa neighborhoods, where attempted to serve DUI-related warrants on 38 people, Sgt. Kristofer Jenny said in a news release. Those sought included motorists who either missed court appearances or violated their probation terms, according to Jenny.
The agency's next enforcement campaign is scheduled for March 17.
Funding for Napa Police anti-DUI operations is provided by a grant from the state Office of Traffic Safety, using funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
