Napa County Fire

A shed used to store golf carts and maintenance items sustained major damage following a fire at Napa Valley Country Club on Tuesday morning, according to Napa County Fire.

The shed near the club’s tennis courts was three-quarters involved when fire personnel arrived at the scene on the 3300 block of Hagen Road after 5:30 a.m., officials said. The fire was put out in about 30 minutes.

Although a damage estimate wasn’t available Tuesday, Fire Capt. Justin Hartman said he would call the shed and its contents a “total loss.”

“It was a lot of damage,” he said.

No one was in the 3,000-square-foot building at the time of the fire, he said.

The cause is under investigation.
