A Wednesday morning outage left 1,900 customers in Napa without power, according to PG&E.

The outage occurred when a palm frond fell onto three phases of power lines near Oak Knoll Avenue at about 8:30 a.m., forcing one line to come down and damaging equipment near Solano and Salvador Avenues, said PG&E spokesperson Deanna Contreras.

A total of 4,700 customers were temporarily without power, Contreras said. 

Power was restored to the majority of those customers by 9:40 a.m., Contreras said. The remaining 1,900 customers were expected to have power restored by 3 p.m.
