PG&E will be operating a helicopter in the area above St. Helena this week as they work on a transmission line outside of the city.
The helicopter will be in the area between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, said Deanna Contreras, PG&E spokesperson. It will be flying in and out of a secure landing zone along Sulphur Creek in St. Helena, she said.
Customers will be contacted via mail and automated phone messages if service is going to be impacted, Contreras said. Initial letters about the planned work were sent out in September, she said.
