A male bicyclist suffered facial abrasions and a possible broken arm at about 8:30 p.m. Saturday in a collision with a pickup truck near Clinton Street and Soscol Avenue, according to witnesses and Napa police officers. The midsize pickup, which was southbound on Soscol Avenue before the driver turned right on Clinton Street, did not stop, police said.
The man was transported by American Medical Response ambulance to Queen of the Valley Medical Center. His condition was unknown Saturday night.
Nora and Dan Levinson, of Napa, were in a car with Nora’s sister and brother-in-law, eastbound on Clinton Street when the pickup zoomed by, leaving behind the man on the ground with his bike. They then called 911. “People drive way too fast,” Dan Levinson said.
