A 30-year-old Fairfield man was arrested on suspicion of burglary on Thursday after being found with credit cards that were reported stolen from a locker at the In-Shape Health Club in American Canyon, according to American Canyon Police.

The stolen credit cards were used at stores in American Canyon and Fairfield following the theft on Dec. 30, helping lead detectives to suspect Joshua Torrence, police said.

A search warrant was served on Torrence’s home on San Dimas Street in Fairfield on Thursday. Once there, deputies located stolen credit cards, items purchased with the cards, the clothing that Torrence wore while making the purchases as well as several empty Amazon.com boxes addressed to various residences not associated with Torrence.

Torrence was arrested and booked at the Napa County jail on suspicion of burglary, conspiracy, identity theft and credit card fraud. He is being held on $10,000 bail.
